The Corrs

01.07.2005

Live at Auditorium Stravinski

They gave an unforgettable concert last year at the auditorium. And this time, we don't expect the Irish group to do anything less! The stroy of The Corrs is a family one, and it's got a special charm. Three superbs sisters: Andrea for the vocals and flute, Caroline on drums and Shanon on violin. Not forgetting their big brother, Jim on guitar. They gave their first performance back in 1992 ain a Dublin pub, then 3 years later they left for California to record their first album Forgiven, Not Forgetten. By that time, the little Irish family were ready to set out on their crazy adventure! "Runaway", What Can I Do", "Only When I Sleep": besides pop titles, their concerts always have a Celtic flavor. And a festive one at that! (FFJM © 2005)

Live Music at its best, Since 1967

Founded by Claude Nobs in 1967, over the years the Montreux Jazz Festival has become an unmissable event for music fans in Switzerland and around the world. Its stages have been graced by all of music’s greats, from Miles Davis to Ray Charles and from David Bowie to Prince.

Whereas Jazz constitutes the Festival’s historic core, other styles of music were quickly integrated into the Festival, bound together by a common thread of mutual curiosity and enthusiasm.
